Each poem brings you a different emotion, perspective and range of complex ideas through the personal journey of Tristan Wright. The author shares his experiences as a young biracial male brought up by a single immigrant mother in Brampton, Ontario while overcoming and surviving oppressive structures within the Canadian context.
