Janicka Auguste graduated from the University of Windsor with a dual degree in Disability Studies & Psychology. Afterwards, she completed a Graduate Certificate in Communicative Disorders Assistant (CDA) at Durham College.
What inspired her passion to provide speech-language therapy was because while growing up, she realized that there were a lot of black youth who needed more support to effectively communicate with their family, friends and other people in their lives. Janicka would love to be that bridge in the gap between the black community and the much needed consultative services that will benefit our leaders of tomorrow.
